Biography
Radford is a filmmaker of British and Jamaican descent, born and bred in Birmingham, now based in London. He has a strong track of record developing and directing thought-provoking stories for documentary, brand and fiction. He has a particular interest in telling character-driven narratives exploring those on the fringes of society. His dramatic and emotive storytelling is often mixed with a sprinkling of comedy.

He’s been commissioned to make a range of film series for Somerset House and VICE, as well as doc featurettes for BBC 1, Netflix, Google, Alibi and ITV. His half hour BLM-inspired documentary Fortitude (2021) premiered at the Museum of London.
​
Since expanding his experience into fiction, he has shadow directed on dramas such as Hollyoaks and Doctors.
​
His short film Cereal (2022), has been selected at 6 film festivals including receiving honourable mentions at Covent Garden Film Festival and Best Indie Film Awards.
Radford's latest care home drama Luna (2023), stars Bafta-nominated Kosar Ali and has been selected for festivals such as Norwich Film Festival (BIFA & Bafta qualifying).
